APPLE CRISP 
3/4 c. quick cooking oats
3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 c. peeled, sliced apples

Combine oats, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in butter until thoroughly mixed. Place apples in greased 8" square pan. Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

Serve hot or cold with whipped topping or ice cream.

Variation: Extra Easy Cherry Crisp: Follow instructions for apple crisp, substituting 1 can cherry pie filling for the apples (21 oz. can).
