SAUSAGE PIE FOR BRUNCH | |
1 box fillo dough 3 1/2 lbs. sausage meat, seasoned with salt and pepper 1 lg. pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese 4 whole potatoes, parboiled 1/2 lb. butter, melted 1. Brown sausage meat thoroughly, it will cook down. 2. Peel and slice potatoes. Fry lightly in butter, drain on paper towels. 3. Grease 9 x 14 inch foil pan. Place fillo in pan, brush each sheet with melted butter. 4. Pour meat into pan, place potatoes and cheese o meat. 5. Fold the fillo over to cover the filling and bake at 350 degrees until brown, about 40 minutes. 6. Cut into squares and serve. Serves 12-16. |
