MANDARIN DELIGHT SALAD 
1/2 head lettuce, shredded
1 c. finely chopped celery
1 bunch scallions, sliced, with tops
2 sm. cans mandarin oranges
1/2 c. buttered toasted salted almonds

DRESSING:

1/2 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. tarragon vinegar
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce

Drain mandarin oranges. Combine with lettuce, onions, parsley and celery. Toss and refrigerate.

Make dressing of oil, sugar, vinegar, Tabasco sauce and add to refrigerated salad at serving time. Toss and add almonds.
