BROWN EDGED WAFERS 
1 c. butter (half & half if desired)
1 c. sugar
Dash of salt
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, 1 at a time. Mix well, then add salt and vanilla. Gradually add 2 cups of flour, mixing well.

Drop by teaspoon on greased baking sheet. May be sprinkled with sugar or nut meats. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees or until edges turn brown.
