APPLE CRANBERRY CRUNCH | |
3 c. chopped, unpeeled red apples 2 c. raw cranberries 3/4 c. sugar TOPPING: 1 stick butter 1/3 c. flour 1 scant c. quick cooking rolled oats 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed 1/2 c. chopped pecans 3 tbsp. water Placed chopped apples in bottom of oblong baking dish. Spread cranberries over apples. Sprinkle on sugar. For Topping: Melt butter in small saucepan. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and pecans. Pour melted butter over dry mixture; mix until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mix over fruit. Drizzle with water. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour. Serves 6-8. Can be frozen. Great side dish with ham. |
