6 c. chicken stock or canned broth 1 lb. smoked kielbasa sausage, diced 1 lb. boiling potatoes, peeled, diced 1 (5 1/4 oz.) can kidney beans, drained 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can diced tomatoes 1/2 med. head green cabbage, coarsely chopped 1 med. onion, chopped 1 lg. carrot, diced 1/2 green bell pepper, diced 3 garlic cloves, minced Combine all ingredients in large pot. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; simmer until thick, stirring occasionally, about 2 hours. Season with pepper. |
