OLD FASHIONED CHOCOLATE ICING 
4 c. granulated sugar
1 c. cocoa
2 sticks butter
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. salt

Sift sugar and cocoa together. Put in large pot - all butter and 1/2 of the milk. Mix thoroughly, then cook on high temperature about 1 minute. Add remaining milk. Cook until smooth. Put on cake while icing is warm.
