OYSTER STEW 
1 pt. shucked oysters
3/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
1 c. light cream
Dash bottles hot pepper sauce, optional
Paprika
butter

In a medium saucepan combine undrained oysters and salt. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes or until edges of oysters curl. Stir in milk, cream and hot pepper sauce. Heat through. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle each serving with paprika and top with a pat of butter. Makes 4 servings.
