1 cake mix (white or yellow)
1 c. brown sugar
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
Cool Whip
Chopped nuts (optional)

Bake cake as usual. Just before cake is done, heat brown sugar and pineapple. Take cake from oven and spoon mixture over hot cake. Put in refrigerator. When ready to eat, top with Cool Whip and nuts.
