BROCCOLI BAKE | |
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut broccoli 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of celery soup 2 oz. sharp process American cheese, shredded (1/2 c.) 1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs 1 beaten egg 1/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing 1/4 c. milk 1 tbsp. butter Cook broccoli according to package directions, omitting salt; drain thoroughly. Blend soup, cheese, and egg. Add mayonnaise and milk; stir in broccoli. Turn into a 1 1/2 to 2 quart greased baking dish. Melt butter and toss with bread crumbs. Top broccoli with crumbs. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees until crumbs are browned, about 30-35 minutes. Serves 4-6. |
