ARTICHOKE CANAPES | |
24 rounds (2") white bread Soft butter 1 c. mayonnaise 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese Salt & pepper 1/4 c. minced onion Lemon juice 8 1/2 oz. can artichoke hearts Butter bread rounds. Mix mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt, pepper, lemon juice and the minced onion. Slice artichoke hearts in 3/8 inch slices. Place 2 slices of artichoke heart on each buttered bread round. Spread with cheese mix to cover. Put on cookie sheet and broil until melted and golden. Watch! Serve hot. Can be made ahead. Cover and refrigerate until ready to broil and serve. Serves 24. |
