1 lb. fillo (struedel dough) 1 lb. onions 1 c. corn oil 3/4 c. rice, boiled and drained Salt Pepper 1/2 lb. feta cheese 1 c. butter, melted Grate the onions and boil in oil until onions are soft. Add the rice, salt, pepper, and feta cheese; mix well. Cut fillo lengthwise into 4 inch strips. Place 2 teaspoonfuls of mixture in corner of 1 strips. Pick up adjacent corner; fold over filling, forming a triangle. Continue filling triangle from to end of strip. Repeat with remaining dough. Place folded side down in ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. |
