1 1/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

Mix like pie crust. Take 2 cups out and pat into a 9x13 inch pan. 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. buttermilk

Beat together, add to flour mixture along with 1/2 cups chopped nuts and 1/2 cup coconut.

Pour over crust and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool and frost with a powdered sugar icing to which vanilla and coconut flavoring has been added. Top with coconut. (For jelly roll pan, 1 1/2 batch.)
