ICE BOX BUNS 
2 pkgs. yeast
1 c. lukewarm water
1 tsp. sugar
2 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
2 eggs, slightly beaten
8 c. flour

Place in small bowl yeast, water, sugar. Mix and let stand until lukewarm: boiling water, salt and shortening. Add eggs, yeast mixture, flour. Let rise. Punch down and make into rolls. Let rise and bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.

NOTE: Dough can be kept in refrigerator several days.
