PEPPERMINT BARS 
1ST LAYER:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
16 oz. can Hershey syrup

Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Let each layer cool before adding the next.

2ND LAYER:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
2 tbsp. milk
Green food coloring (opt.)

3RD LAYER:

1 c. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

Melt together.
