CALIFORNIA ROLLS
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. warm water
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
4 to 5 c. flour
1/2 c. butter, melted

In large bowl, mix yeast, sugar and warm water. Let stand 30 minutes. Add eggs, salt, butter and enough flour to make dough leave side of bowl. Let stand overnight and without refrigeration.

Next morning, divide dough into 3 balls. Roll each ball into a 10-inch circle. Cut into 12 pie-shaped wedges. Roll each wedge starting from large end. Place on well-greased cookie sheet and let rise at least 1 hour; can stand 1 to 8 hours. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
