PECAN CHEW 
2 c. sugar
2 c. Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
8 c. pecans
3 cans evaporated milk, sm. size

Cook syrup, sugar and 1 can milk to soft ball stage. Add 2nd can milk and cook to soft ball stage. Add 3rd can milk and cook to hard ball stage. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into jelly roll pan and allow to cool. Be sure to butter pan, cut into 1 inch squares.
