CHERRY JELLO CAKE 
1 whole cake mix
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry Jello
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2/3 c. oil
1/3 c. water
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple (drained - save juice)
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine all ingredients except the pineapple juice. Mix well. Bake in 10x13 pan for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

While cake is still hot, prick top with fork and pour pineapple juice over top. When cool, cover top with cherry pie filling, then with 2 packages of Dream Whip whip cream and put in ice box.
