BASIL MEATBALLS WITH RED WINE
GRAVY
 
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
3 tbsp. water
Cooking oil
1/4 c. red wine

Shape into 12 balls. Saute in cooking oil until golden and almost done; drain oil. Add 1 large can beef gravy and 1/4 cup red wine. Cover and simmer 5-10 minutes. Serve over rice with veggies and crisp salad.
