BANANA COFFEE CAKE 
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 beaten eggs
2 ripe bananas (1 c.) mashed
1/4 c. milk

In bowl cream butter and sugar. Add 3/4 cup flour stir just until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping. Stir together remaining 1 cup flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, soda. Stir into batter mixture. Combine eggs, banana, milk and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients stirring just until mixed. Spread in greased 9 x 9 x 2 pan. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup crumb mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
