BAKED ASPARAGUS | |
1 can asparagus 1 egg 1 c. undiluted canned milk, heated 3/4 c. cracker crumbs 1 tsp. chopped onion 1 tbsp. melted butter Beat egg, add heated milk gradually. Add crumbs, butter and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Let stand until crumbs absorb some of the liquid. Then put into buttered baking dish a layer of mixture and a layer of asparagus, alternately. Top the dish with crumb mixture. Bake 30 minutes in moderate oven. |
