STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD 
2 1/2 c. sliced strawberries
2 c. crushed pretzels
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 env. Dream Whip, prepared according to directions
2 (3 1/2 oz.) strawberry Jello
1 1/4 c. sugar, divided, plus 2 tbsp.
1 1/4 tsp. butter, melted
2 c. hot pineapple juice

Mix strawberries with 1/4 cup sugar. Let stand. Mix pretzels with butter and 2 tablespoons sugar. Press firmly in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Let cool.

Mix cheese with 1 cup sugar until creamy. Add prepared Dream Whip and mix well. Spread over pretzel crust. Chill 30 minutes. Dissolve Jello in juice. Stir in strawberries. Spoon over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until set. Can be used as dessert topped with whipped cream. Raspberry Jello can be substituted.
