PECAN PIE 
3 eggs
1 c. white corn syrup
1 c. white sugar
1/3 c. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 - 1 1/2 c. whole pecans
1/8 tsp. salt (optional)
Pie crust (homemade is best)

Beat eggs. Add sugar and syrup. Beat. Mix in remaining ingredients. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 - 1 1/2 hours or until a knife comes out clean when poked into the center and when it looks toasty brown - depends on your oven.
