1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce (divided)
1 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. instant minced onion

TOPPING:

Reserved tomato sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard

Mix together beef, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and eggs. Add onion and 1/2 of tomato sauce. Form into loaf in 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan. Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees. In saucepan, combine topping ingredients; bring to a boil. Pour over meat loaf. Bake 10 minutes more.
