CHEESY POTATOES 
2 1/2-3 lb. potatoes
Approx. 8 oz. sour cream
8 oz. block Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 can Durkee dried onion rings
1 stick butter

Peel boil and mash potatoes. While still hot, put in the shredded Cheddar cheese, sour cream and 3/4 can of the onion rings. Mash in these ingredients. Remove from the mixing bowl and place in a baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40-45 minutes or until golden brown on top. Place slits on top of the potatoes after baking. Melt 1 stick of butter and pour on top, into slits. Pour remaining onions on top and serve.
