1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1/4 stick butter
1/2 c. flour
4 egg yolks
1 tbsp. vanilla

Combine sugar and flour thoroughly. Add 1/1 2 to 2 cups of milk, and the egg yolks. Combine in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Place in a double boiler, and add butter and vanilla. Cook until desired thickness is reached. Beat white of eggs until fluffy. Add 1/2 cup sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Place on top of pudding and brown.
