ONION RINGS 
1-1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
onions, sliced 1/4 inch thick

Mix flour, salt and shortening together. Stir in eggs and milk. Dip sliced onions. Cook in hot grease (375°F) until golden brown.
