CALICO BAKED BEANS 
1/4 to 1/2 lb. bacon
1/2 to 1 lb. beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
2 tbsp. dark molasses
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 lg. can pork and beans, kidney beans and lima beans

Brown bacon. Remove from pan and reserve. Drain off bacon fat and add onions and ground beef. Cook until browned. Combine all ingredients in casserole. Bacon can be added to ingredients or crumbled on top of casserole. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Casserole also can be cooked for several hours in a crock pot at low heat.
