PECAN PIE | |
1/2 c. honey 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. butter 3 eggs, beaten 1 c. pecan meats Blend honey and sugar together. Cook slowly to form a smooth syrup. Add butter. Add beaten eggs and broken pecan meats. Pour into pie pan lined with pastry. Bake in moderate oven, 400 degrees, 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes, or until mixture sets. |
