LOW-CALORIE BUTTERMILK DRESSING 
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. onion salt
Few grains cayenne pepper
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. vinegar

In double boiler, mix together the first 7 ingredients. Add egg, buttermilk; stir until smooth. Cook over hot, NOT BOILING, water until mixture begins to thicken. Add butter and vinegar, a little at a time, beat well. Refrigerate.

Makes 1 cup, 15 calories per tablespoon.
