OVERNIGHT SALAD 
1 lg. head of lettuce
2 lg. carrots, grated
1 sm. can green peas, drained
1 sm. onion, coarsely chopped
Mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar

You may add tomato, celery, cauliflower, broccoli, beets, or whatever it takes to fill the bowl.

In a deep bowl, layer the salad starting with chopped lettuce, carrots, peas, onions and other desired vegetables. Spread mayonnaise to top, sealing completely. Sprinkle with sugar. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
