PECAN TASSIES 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour

Blend as for pie crust. Press into small muffin pans with fingers. Sprinkle a few chopped pecans (or walnuts) on bottom of each.

FILLING:

3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. melted butter
A dash of salt
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Whole pecan or walnut on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
