3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
6 lg. eggs
3/4 lb. real butter
4 tbsp. Crisco
Dash salt

Cream sugar and butter, then add a cup of flour at a time with one egg at a time, cream each time. Put in pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes - 1 hour. Don't open oven until time.
