CARMELITA BARS 
1 c. presifted flour
1 c. quick oats
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. melted butter

Combine all ingredients in order in large bowl. Stir to form a crumb mixture. Press 1/2 of mixture into 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle immediately while still hot 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. Drizzle over chips a mixture of 3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping and 3 tablespoons flour. Top with remaining crumb mixture. Return to 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes longer. Cool and cut into bars.
