CHERRY FRENCH PIE 
24 sm. saltine crackers, crushed
1 tsp. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped walnuts
3 egg whites

Mix together crushed crackers, vinegar, sugar and nuts. Beat egg whites in separate bowl until they peak. Fold egg whites into cracker mixture. Flour and grease 9x9 baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350. COOL COMPLETELY!!!!!

FILLING:

3 or 6 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 container Cool Whip

Mix cream cheese and 1 cup powdered sugar together until smooth (like frosting). Fold in Cool Whip. Pour over cool cracker base. Top with can of cherry pie filling. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
