BEAN SOUP 
3 c. baked beans, canned or homemade
6 c. water
2 c. chopped onions
2 or 3 stalks celery, sliced
1/2 tsp. sugar
Salt to taste

Cook until beans are soft. To thicken soup, add roux (2 tablespoons flour and 2 tablespoons butter). Liquify everything after it boils.
