PUMPKIN CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 can pumpkin (2 c.)

Beat eggs and sugar until light and creamy. Add oil, mix thoroughly. Sift together the flour, soda, cinnamon, salt, ginger and nutmeg. Add to the egg mixture; mix well. Then add pumpkin and beat for two minutes. Bake in a greased and floured 9x13 pan for 35 to 40 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar

Cream first three ingredients together; add powdered sugar. Frost cooled cake.
