FROSTED CHOCOLATE DROPS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 oz. (sqs.) chocolate, melted
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

OPTIONAL:

3/4 c. walnuts
3/4 c. raisins

Mix and sift flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. Beat shortening until creamy. Add sugar gradually until light. Add eggs and chocolate and beat well. Stir in milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Cover and chill for 1 hour.

Drop spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool and frost.

EASY FROSTING:

1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
Milk - enough to make frosting spreadable
1 tsp. vanilla
Food coloring

Mix well and frost cookies.
