BRAZIL NUT CAKE 
2 c. ground Brazil nuts
6 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar

Grind nuts, 1 1/2 cups shelled nuts or about 1/2 pound. Mix with sugar and salt. Beat egg yolks until foamy. Beat in sugar and nuts mixture. Beat thoroughly and fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into 3 greased 8 inch layer pans. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees) for 30 minutes or pour mixture into greased 8 1/2 inch tube pan or spring form and bake in slow oven (325 degrees) for 20 minutes.
