CHILI DOGS 
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 c. chopped onion
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. Dijon mustard
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. crushed dried red pepper
12 frankfurters
12 frankfurter buns

In large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain off excess fat. Stir in ketchup, corn syrup, mustard, vinegar, chili powder and red pepper.

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes. Serve over heated or grilled frankfurters in buns. Makes 12 servings.

NOTE: Mixture may be frozen. Defrost and reheat gently over low heat.
