BROWNIE PUDDING 
1 c. flour
3/4 tbsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. melted shortening
1 tsp. vanilla

BROWNIE PUDDING SAUCE:

3/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1 3/4 c. very hot water

Sift dry ingredients; add milk, vanilla, and melted shortening; mix well. Place in greased 8 x 8 inch cake pan.

For Topping: Mix brown sugar and cocoa well. Sprinkle over top of pudding. Pour hot water over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until sauce seems to thicken.
