YELLOW CAKE 
2 c. of flour
1 tbsp. of baking powder
1 tsp. of salt
1/2 c. of butter, softened
2 eggs
3/4 c. of milk
1 tsp. of vanilla
1 1/4 c. of sugar

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. Add sugar to the butter and beat in eggs until smooth. Add half of flour mixture, half of the milk and the vanilla. Mix. Add the rest of the flour and milk and mix until smooth.

Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes until cake springs back in the middle. Top it with your favorite frosting!
