BAKED APPLES 
Apples (sm.)
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tbsp. butter

Core apples. Place sugar and butter in cavities. Set in custard cups or arrange in ring in baking dish with space between. Cover tightly. Microwave, rotating after 2 minutes until fork tender. Let stand 2 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
