MOCK RAVIOLI 
1/2 lb. ground round beef
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. shortening
1 (27 oz.) can spinach
3/4 c. spinach juice
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 can tomato paste
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
1 tsp. rosemary
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese, divided
1/4 c. salad oil
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 lb. bow-tie macaroni

Cook meat, onion and garlic in shortening until slightly brown, drain spinach to make 3/4 cup (add water to make 3/4 cup, if necessary). Add tomato sauce, paste and seasonings to meat. Cook 15 minutes. Add crumbs, add half or 1/4 cup cheese, oil and eggs, salt and pepper the crumbs.

Cook macaroni until tender, drain, put a layer of macaroni in large baking dish and a layer of meat sauce on top. Another layer of macaroni and then meat sauce on top. Then 1/4 cup grated cheese. Bake 1 hour at 350°F.
