MAPLE BRAN MUFFINS 
2 1/2 c. Bran Flakes, crushed
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. maple syrup
1/4 c. salad (vegetable) oil

Grease muffin tins. Mix first four ingredients. In small bowl, mix egg, milk, syrup and salad oil. Stir into flour mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until lightly brown.
