FLUFFY FROSTING 
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Dash of salt
1/3 c. water
1 tbsp. light corn syrup
1 egg white
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Bring sugar, cream of tartar, salt and water to boiling and cook a short time until sugar dissolves. Add to unbeaten egg white and beat constantly with a rotary or electric beater until frosting is of spreading consistency. Add vanilla and frost cake.
