ASPARAGUS ROLL SANDWICHES 
12 thin slices white bread
8 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
12 cooked asparagus spears
Melted butter

Trim crust and roll slices thin with rolling pin. Blend bacon bits with cream cheese and spread mixture on bread slices. Lay a cold, cooked asparagus spear on each slice of bread and roll up. Place on baking sheet, steam side down; cover and refrigerate until serving time then brush with melted butter. Toast in 350 degree oven until lightly brown. Serve hot.
