OLIVE OIL SPAGHETTI 
2 lb. vermicelli
1 c. pure and light virgin olive oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 cloves garlic, minced or 2 tsp. prepared and chopped refrigerated garlic
1 tsp. sweet basil
3 tsp. chopped chives
1 tsp. salt
Sprinkle Parmesan or Romano cheese; optional
Red pepper; optional

Cook spaghetti following package directions. While spaghetti is cooking, saute onion and garlic and chives in oil until clear and tender and then add spices and mix.

Drain spaghetti and add oil mixture to spaghetti and toss and mix until noodles are thoroughly wet with oil. Sprinkle with cheese or red pepper.
