BANANA SPLIT DESSERT 
6 c. Country Corn Flakes, finely chopped
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/3 c. sugar
1 pkg. vanilla pudding (instant)
5 to 6 bananas
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
12 maraschino cherries, cut in halves
1 c. Country Corn Flakes, whole

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix crushed cereal, butter and sugar in bowl. Pat mixture in ungreased pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool. Prepare pudding as directed on package. Refrigerate 10 minutes.

Slice bananas, arrange on crust. Spread the pudding over bananas. Top with pineapple. Spread whip cream over pineapple. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Just before serving, garnish with cherry halves and whole cereal.
