MAPLE CANDIED SWEET POTATOES | |
5 med. sweet potatoes 1/2 c. maple syrup or substitute 1 tbsp. butter 1/4 c. apple juice or cider Boil potatoes in skins until nearly done. Peel, slice and put in a baking dish. Bring other ingredients to a boil and pour over potatoes. Bake at 300 degrees uncovered for 1 hour or until potatoes are glazed and syrup has thickened a bit. Baste 2 or 3 times during baking process. |
